If you know Ninja Saga, Tenno will feel familiar in spirit. It is a 2D ninja RPG with turn-based fights, elements and jutsu. Some features you may look for, such as talents, pets, senjutsu and bloodlines, are not part of Tenno right now. The team is working on new stuff.
Tenno runs on Android, iOS and Steam. You can sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook or a Resurge Games email account, and the same account works on every platform.
What Tenno has
Turn-based ninja combat
Fights are turn-based. The agility bar decides who acts first, and if you lap your opponent you get two turns. Accuracy goes up against dodge to decide whether a hit lands. Each target of an area attack is rolled separately for damage, dodge, crit and super crit.
A lock in Tenno means stun, sleep or chaos. Different debuffs can sit on a target together, but the same debuff does not stack: the newer one replaces the older one. Buffs do stack.

Five elemental villages
There are five elements: wind, fire, water, earth and thunder. Each has its own village. A character can learn up to 3 elements, free players included. To learn a new one, travel to another village and enter its Academy. Attribute points raise the damage of that element's jutsu.
See The Five Elemental Villages in Tenno for the full picture.
Jutsu and kinjutsu
Your skills are jutsu, and kinjutsu are a special type of skill. Kinjutsu come with their own effects. For example:
- Kinjutsu: Abyssal Rift (level 10) cuts 15% of the enemy's Max CP and applies Weaken (50% for 2 turns).
- Kinjutsu: Advanced Abyssal Rift (level 20) cuts 30% of the enemy's Max CP and applies Weaken (80% for 3 turns).
If you want a different element, reset the one you want to replace. Then buy a jutsu of the new element in the Academy. A reset removes that element and all of its jutsu, and nothing is refunded. It costs 200 Tenno Coins, or 2,000 if you already reset an element this month. Anbu Club members pay half.

Rumble PvP
Rumble is the seasonal PvP mode. You play it from Arena → Rumble while a season is running. Rumble is offline, and your opponents are AI-controlled copies of other players, so there is no live match to watch.
- Each battle costs 25 stamina. Stamina caps at 100, or 150 with Anbu Club.
- Season rewards unlock in order on the Rewards screen.
- Standings are under Arena → Rumble → Ranking.
- Past season items are sold in the Rumble Shop, at the bottom of the Rumble screen.
Rumble Season 18 is running now and ends on 14 November 2026 (server time). Season 17 ended on 10 October 2026. For the details, see Rumble PvP Seasons: Leaderboard and Rewards Guide.
Hunting House
Hunting House is a boss mode. Each target shows its level and its possible rewards, and you can attack solo or go online with others. For example, Enko is a level 10 target that lists XP, gold, an XP ticket and a chest as possible rewards. Each completed Hunting House battle gives 10 Tenno Pass XP.
See the Hunting House Guide.
Tenno Pass
Each Tenno Pass season has a free track and a paid track. The paid track costs 3,999 Tenno Coins for the season. Rewards unlock as your Pass XP grows, and you need to claim them before the season ends. Tenno Pass Season 10 is the current pass. A level takes about 60 to 70 XP, and you can also buy levels for 100 Tenno Coins each.
See Tenno Pass: How the Season Pass Works.
Parties
Parties are cross-platform, and anyone can be invited. Quick Match searches automatically when you press Fight. A friend can join if they are within 10 levels of you, and a party member cannot join a battle above their own level. You can find team-mates in the in-game chat or in the Tenno Discord.

In Tenno, your build identity comes from your elements, jutsu, equipment and passives. Titles, badges and event items add to it.
Where to start
- Do the Travel missions to gain XP and gold.
- Use the Academy to learn your early skills.
- Equip your gear and skills from Inventory and Jutsu.
- Branch out into chests, the Tenno Pass, Hunting House, Rumble and live events as they unlock.
Story missions currently end at level 60. After that, progress comes from Hunting House, the Tenno Pass, daily missions and Rumble while a season is running.
