Orochi's Lab upgrades items you already own into stronger versions, and the Rumble Shop is where you buy past Rumble season items. This page covers both, so you can plan what to buy and what to upgrade.
Rumble Shop at a glance
The Rumble Shop sells items from past Rumble seasons, starting with Season 10. You find it at the bottom of the Rumble screen.
- Cost: Each item costs Rumble Essence plus Tenno Coins.
- Essence: You earn 1 Rumble Essence for each Rumble win.
- First-week discount: Items are 50% off in a season's first week.
- What it sells: Gear and skills from past seasons, including Rumble rewards you did not claim at the time.

Prices can change, so check the shop before you plan a purchase. Items bought with Tenno Coins are final, and a confirmation pop-up appears before you pay.
Missed season rewards
Season rewards you do not claim leave the Rumble reward track when the season ends. Later, they are sold in the Rumble Shop at a higher price. Limited-edition skills and old event items cannot be earned again, and past Rumble rewards sold in the shop are the exception. What Orochi's Lab does
Orochi's Lab is an upgrade screen for specific higher-tier items. It only upgrades items you already own. It does not sell anything.
You reach it from the Shop screen. The Shop also has the Market, which is where you buy and sell standard items.
How an upgrade works
- Open Orochi's Lab and pick an item you own from the upgradeable list.
- Check the requirements. The screen shows the exact materials and the Tenno Coin cost.
- Confirm the upgrade. The regular item is replaced by its advanced version.
For example, Awakened Homura Sai is a Season 13 upgrade. In the lab it showed a cost of 500 Tenno Coins plus materials. Its effect is that each successful weapon attack inflicts 3% Burn for 3 turns, and it gives +40% Accuracy.
Where materials come from
Upgrades need materials. They come from the Tenno Pass, events and chests. Most upgradable gear comes from events and Rumble seasons.
How the shop and the lab fit together
Rumble items from Season 10 onward can be bought in the Rumble Shop, and all of them can be upgraded in Orochi's Lab. A typical path looks like this:
- Buy a past season item in the Rumble Shop, or earn it during a season.
- Collect the materials the lab asks for.
- Upgrade the item in Orochi's Lab.
Some shop items list an advanced version. Homura Sai leads to Awakened Homura Sai, Lepidra Glaive leads to Awakened Lepidra Glaive, and Kinjutsu: Yurei no Gadian leads to Kinjutsu: Advanced Yurei no Gadian.
When a season's advanced versions arrive
A Rumble season's advanced versions become available in the lab after that season ends. Rumble Season 18 is running now, so wait for it to finish before you expect its upgrades. Chests you already own stay in your inventory when a season ends, so you do not lose them.

Tips
- Save Rumble Essence for the first week of a season, when shop items are half price.
- Check the lab screen for the exact materials before you spend Tenno Coins.
- Claim your Rumble season rewards before the season ends, or you will pay more in the shop later.
